Since 2006 Home Resource has been building partnerships with local agencies in order to become a work program site. Joining with organizations such as Experience Works and Opportunity Resources, we prepare participants to re-enter the workforce and explore new career pathways. In particular, our site offers vocational skills for people interested in obtaining entry-level construction, manufacturing and green industry jobs, among others.
Our goal is to equip participants with direct job skills that eventually lead to high quality, living wage employment. Along the way, we hope that Home ReSource can serve to engage everyone in a meaningful, environmental and community-serving cause.
Home ReSource staff work closely with the work program participants to improve the training experience and increase participant success in securing permanent employment.
Home Resource looks forward to continuing our capacity as a site for job placement programs, local employers and job seekers alike to build and share skills for a stronger community.
